Bnei Sakhnin Continues Talks with Larry Kayode Ahead of Hungary Training Camp
Bnei Sakhnin is set to depart for a training camp in Hungary on Monday, where the team will play three preparatory matches ahead of the 2026/27 season. The squad, led by coach Yossi Abukasis, will be joined by right-back Guy Herman, who previously played for Maccabi Herzliya and Beitar Jerusalem. Herman joins following the sale of Alon Azougi to Maccabi Netanya, as the club seeks to strengthen its defense, midfield, and attack.
Negotiations are ongoing with Nigerian striker Larry Kayode, who is the leading candidate to fill the forward position after the club decided not to exercise the option on Arthur Marinian. Kayode, 33, has prior experience in Israeli football, having played successfully for Maccabi Netanya early in his career. His transfer history includes a 2017 move to Manchester City for 3.8 million euros, followed by loans to Girona and Shakhtar Donetsk, which later purchased him for 3 million euros.
Additionally, four youth players, Karem Zubaidat, Mohammed Abu Ria, Ali Ghanama, and Sobhi Abu Younis, will join the team at the camp as part of their development. Bnei Sakhnin continues to focus on reinforcing key positions as they prepare for the upcoming season.
