Bnei Sakhnin Negotiates Return of Nigerian Striker Larry Kayode for Upcoming Season
Bnei Sakhnin is in talks to sign Nigerian striker Larry Kayode, who previously played for Maccabi Netanya and Manchester City. Kayode, 33, scored 17 goals last season with Turkish club Iroquspor and is currently a free agent after his contract ended. He had a successful stint in Israel with Maccabi Netanya early in his career and was acquired by Manchester City in 2017 for 3.8 million euros. Following that, he was loaned to Girona and later transferred to Shakhtar Donetsk for three million euros. Over the past three years, Kayode has played in Turkey, and his name was also previously linked to Beitar Jerusalem.
In addition to transfer news, Bnei Sakhnin held a special fan event on Saturday to present their vision for the upcoming season. The club emphasized integrating young players from their youth academy, strengthening fan relations by establishing a supporters' committee, expanding their communications department, and enhancing community engagement.
