Beitar Jerusalem Partners With Ironi Modi'in to Develop Young Players for Upcoming Season

Beitar Jerusalem and Ironi Modi'in have agreed on a new professional collaboration to loan young players from Beitar's youth department to the Liga Leumit club. This initiative, first reported by Israel Hayom, aims to provide these young talents with significant playing time at the senior level to foster their development and prepare them for future integration into Beitar's first team.

The agreement was reached following a meeting between Beitar Jerusalem's management and Ironi Modi'in's professional staff. Unlike previous seasons when loaned players were spread across various teams, most of the young players loaned this season will be concentrated at Ironi Modi'in. Currently, three youth players from Beitar, Yan Shikot, Yam Katz, and Alex Sotskov, are training with Ironi Modi'in. Katz and Sotskov scored in the team's recent friendly match against M.S. Ashdod.

Ironi Modi'in is entering its second season in Liga Leumit after finishing sixth in the lower playoff last season, securing its place in the league. Last season, two Beitar loanees, Sagie Israeli and Yan Yusupov, played for Modi'in but are now seeking new clubs in Liga Leumit. Beitar Jerusalem hopes this new model will create a structured development path for its youth players by gaining experience in Liga Leumit before potentially returning to the senior squad.
