Israeli Police Chief Credits Undercover Operation With Foiling Arms Deals

Israel Police Commissioner Major General Danni Levi praised the success of a major raid conducted by the Lahav 433 unit and other special police forces. He emphasized that the arrests made during the operation demonstrate that criminals cannot evade the reach of Israeli law enforcement. The operation involved the deployment of an undercover agent known as 'the Nomad,' whose work, combined with the efforts of Lahav 433 investigators and fighters along with partner units, led to the exposure of dozens of suspects and the prevention of arms and drug transactions.

Levi highlighted the importance of removing weapons from the streets, stating that every firearm taken off the street saves lives and prevents future murders. He affirmed the police's commitment to continue vigorous, both overt and covert, actions against crime and violence wherever they occur in Israel.
