Israeli Forces Raid West Bank Shop, Uncover Stolen Phone Repair Lab in Duhriya

Israeli police and IDF soldiers conducted a raid this morning on a mobile phone shop in the West Bank town of Duhriya. Authorities discovered a suspected workshop used to refurbish stolen phones for resale or reuse. The operation was part of an ongoing investigation into a series of cellphone thefts.

The raid followed the dramatic arrest several weeks ago of a Palestinian suspect in his 30s from Duhriya. He was apprehended by Hebron police detectives and Tel Aviv district officers after attempting to flee during an operation at a major mall in the city. The suspect was caught after a public chase and taken for further questioning on suspicion of involvement in the theft ring.

During the search of the Duhriya shop, investigators found a back room believed to be used by the gang as a processing center for stolen phones. The stolen devices reportedly came from various locations in central Israel, including Tel Aviv, shopping centers, beaches, and soldiers on leave. Ten suspected stolen phones were seized at the scene.

Two additional suspects in their 20s from Duhriya were also detained and brought to the Hebron police station for questioning. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to gather intelligence and evidence.
