Israeli Forces Arrest Palestinian in Duhriya with Glock Pistol and Ammunition
During a nighttime operation on Wednesday, the 'Arrow of Judah' unit from the Judea and Samaria District arrested a Palestinian man in his 50s in the town of Duhriya for illegal possession of weapons. Acting on precise intelligence coordinated by the unit's intelligence coordinator, the forces raided a residence where they found a Glock pistol, two magazines, and dozens of 9mm bullets. The suspect was taken for further investigation, and the case remains under inquiry.
This seizure is part of a series of recent counterterrorism activities conducted by the Judea and Samaria police district and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). On Monday, IDF troops, guided by intelligence from the Ariel station in the Samaria region, raided the Palestinian village of Qalil, confiscating an M16 rifle, magazines, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, and tens of thousands of shekels.
In another operation, detectives from the Etzion station, supported by intelligence from their coordinator and soldiers from the Etzion Brigade, conducted a raid in the Palestinian town of Za'tara. They uncovered weapons including pipe bombs and hand grenades ready for deployment. These coordinated efforts reflect ongoing security measures in the West Bank to prevent armed threats.
