Israeli Man Sentenced to 17 Years for Orchestrating Child Sexual Abuse via Fake Online Profiles
The Lod District Court sentenced Uri Alfi, 22, from Mazkeret Batya to 17 years in prison and ordered him to pay 200,000 shekels in compensation. Alfi was convicted of a prolonged series of sexual offenses committed online. According to the indictment, he used social media and apps to contact about 25 men, mostly fathers, under false female identities. He engaged them in sexual conversations and instructed them to sexually abuse their young children, including infants and toddlers, and to record and send him the footage. The court emphasized that although the fathers committed the acts themselves and some faced prosecution, Alfi was the mastermind behind the crimes.
