Israeli Man Arrested for Impersonating Teen Online and Sexually Exploiting Dozens of Minors
Israeli police unit Lahav 433 arrested a man in his 40s from central Israel on suspicion of impersonating a 16-year-old boy on TikTok and Instagram to sexually exploit girls aged 11 to 15. The suspect allegedly operated this scheme from 2022 to 2025, using photos of another minor to deceive victims. He reportedly complimented the girls on their bodies, coerced them into performing sexual acts, and sent obscene videos and images of his genitals.
The investigation began after a 12-year-old girl reported online sexual harassment to police hotline 105. Following a covert inquiry, the suspect was detained and his remand extended by the Magistrate's Court in Rishon Lezion until Tuesday. Police have identified over 20 victims so far and are urging anyone affected by the suspect's profiles to contact unit 105 immediately.
Israeli authorities emphasize the importance of reporting such crimes to the national hotline to prevent further harm to minors and ensure perpetrators face justice. The ongoing probe highlights growing concerns over online child exploitation in Israel.
