Israeli Man Sentenced to 17 Years for Online Sexual Abuse and Coercion of Fathers to Abuse Children
On November 2, 2025, the Central District Court in Lod sentenced Uri Alfi to 17 years in prison, along with a suspended sentence and 200,000 shekels in compensation, for a prolonged series of online sexual offenses. Alfi was convicted of orchestrating severe sexual crimes, including causing rape and indecent acts against minor family members, as well as blackmail.
Alfi used sophisticated technological means to impersonate a young woman online, targeting dozens of men and minors. He specifically approached fathers of young children, engaging them in sexually explicit conversations and then instructing them to sexually abuse their children in real time while he watched and encouraged escalation. In some cases, he coerced the fathers into recording the abuse, threatening to release the videos to force continued offenses.
The court highlighted that although the fathers physically committed the abuse and some faced prosecution, Alfi was the mastermind who manipulated and incited these acts. His actions caused severe harm to the victims, including very young children. Additionally, Alfi contacted three minors and an adult while impersonating a young woman, instructing them to perform sexual acts on themselves. The court condemned his conduct as abhorrent and emphasized the gravity of his crimes.
This ruling marks an unusually harsh sentence for internet-based sexual offenses, reflecting the calculated and egregious nature of Alfi’s crimes. The case underscores the dangers of online deception used to facilitate child abuse and exploitation.
