Israeli Health Ministry Orders Recall of Organic Eggs Due to Poultry Illness
The Israeli Ministry of Health has instructed a voluntary recall of organic eggs produced by Glixman following high illness and mortality rates among the laying hens in the supplying farm. The recall concerns a batch of approximately twelve free-range organic eggs, sizes L or M, with a marketing date of July 21 and agricultural code 414020. Although laboratory test results received so far are normal, the ministry has advised consumers to avoid using these eggs as a precaution until investigations are complete. Glixman is actively retrieving the eggs from retail outlets. Consumers with inquiries can contact the company at 088592006, extension 1.
