Dan Glazer Signs Two-Year Deal with Maccabi Tel Aviv After Transfer from Kairat
Dan Glazer has chosen to join Maccabi Tel Aviv, agreeing to a two-year contract with an option for extension. He arrived in Israel on Wednesday morning to undergo medical tests and finalize the signing. Maccabi Tel Aviv will pay Kairat a transfer fee of 200,000 euros, while Glazer's salary is set at 300,000 euros per season.
Glazer, 29, who previously played alongside Ofri Arad, appeared in 39 matches in Kazakhstan and has a total of 194 appearances for Maccabi Tel Aviv, scoring twice and assisting six goals. His arrival is expected to complete the team's midfield trio alongside Christian Blitz and Itamar Noy.
The club also plans to terminate its contract with midfielder Issouf Sissoko and seek to sell him to free up a foreign player slot. Meanwhile, Maccabi Tel Aviv returned to Israel early Wednesday after concluding their training camp in Serbia.
