Maccabi Tel Aviv Signs Dan Glazer for Two Years with Third Year Option
Nearly three years after leaving Maccabi Tel Aviv, Dan Glazer returns to the club and will participate in his first training session today after signing a two-year contract with an option for a third season. Glazer had left to pursue a career in Europe but promised himself he would return to Maccabi Tel Aviv, a goal he fulfilled yesterday. His contract guarantees him approximately 300,000 euros net per season, with the third year automatically activated if he appears in 70 percent of matches during his second season.
Glazer arrives ready to contribute after being a regular starter at Kairat, which recently won its first-round UEFA Champions League qualifier. Maccabi Tel Aviv is pleased with the signing, expecting Glazer to bring personality, passion, and leadership to the squad. The club fondly recalls his two successful seasons under coach Vladan Ivic, during which the team won two championships and Glazer was named Player of the Season in one of those years.
Following Glazer's addition, Maccabi Tel Aviv will continue strengthening its roster for the upcoming season. The club's immediate priorities include signing a striker and a center-back, while also reinforcing the right-wing position, as they have yet to secure Amir Saheti for another season despite holding his rights.
