Fire Breaks Out in Beit Keshet Forest in Lower Galilee, Firefighting Aircraft Dispatched

Nine firefighting teams from the Tiberias and Nof HaGalil stations are operating with the assistance of firefighting aircraft and KKL crews to extinguish several fire hotspots in Beit Keshet Forest in the Lower Galilee. Chief Superintendent Shmuel Achituv, the incident commander, said: "This is a fire in several hotspots in open terrain that is advancing on several fronts. The combined firefighting teams are working to stop the spread of the fire from the ground and from the air until control of the incident is achieved".
