Eight firefighting teams are currently battling a wildfire that erupted in the forest near the village of Shemsheet in the Lower Galilee region. The fire is spreading rapidly due to strong winds, posing a direct threat to the village. Firefighters are working to contain the blaze and protect residential homes. Additionally, aerial firefighting aircraft from the air squadron have been deployed to assist in extinguishing the fire. Due to the danger of the fire spreading, police have ordered the evacuation of the first line of houses in the village as a precautionary measure.
