Fire Forces Evacuation of Residents in Shemsheet Near Jezreel Valley
Residents of Shemsheet, a community in the Jezreel Valley, were evacuated from their homes on Saturday due to a wildfire that broke out in an open area nearby. The fire threatened the first row of houses in the settlement. Eight firefighting teams were deployed to contain the blaze, and firefighting aircraft were also dispatched to the scene. According to the Fire and Rescue Services spokesperson, the fire is spreading rapidly due to strong winds, posing a significant danger to the homes in the area.
