Masked Attacker Smashes News 12 Entrance Following Threatening Graffiti

On Saturday night, the entrance door to the News 12 building was smashed by a masked individual after threatening graffiti was sprayed on the premises. This incident is part of a recent series of threats and incitement targeting media personnel and public figures in Israel. News 12 condemned the violence, stating they were shocked but not surprised by the dangerous escalation, and called on the Israeli government and Communications Minister to stop inflammatory rhetoric against free media, which they say fuels such serious acts. Four months ago, threatening graffiti appeared on the entrance wall of the military radio station Galei Tzahal in Jaffa, including messages targeting the High Court, police investigations, and the prosecution, with warnings that "your time is limited." A month before that, graffiti was sprayed for the second time on the concrete wall of Reshet 13’s building, featuring phrases like "the last gasps of secular heresy," "injustices of Force 100," and "Ofir Sa'ar hero saint," referring to a soldier detained on suspicion of violence and kidnapping a terrorist. The first graffiti at Reshet 13 included the phrase "blood of traitors even more for publication." These incidents highlight a growing trend of hostility and threats against Israeli media outlets.
