Glass Doors at Channel 12 News Building Vandalized in Tel Aviv, Police Investigate
The glass doors at the entrance of Channel 12's news building in Tel Aviv were smashed overnight between Saturday and Sunday. Security cameras captured a masked suspect throwing a brick at the doors before fleeing the scene. The police were called to the location and have opened an investigation into the incident.
This act of vandalism follows a series of recent hate incidents targeting Channel 12 journalists. In the past months, several graffiti with hateful and threatening messages were sprayed near the news studios in Tel Aviv. In early June, a message was found saying, "To the traitors, peace, 11, 12, 13. Peleg, Drucker, Abramovich, criminals. You will pay with your loved ones' blood."
Additional graffiti discovered in May included slogans such as "The judicial authority for judgment or slaughter," "Sorry by force 100 in the name of Keshet 12 traitors," "The Supreme Court is the enemy of the Jewish people," and "Witch wave." These incidents have raised concerns about escalating hostility against the news outlet and its journalists. The police continue to investigate the latest attack and the ongoing threats.
