He died at Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center in Bnei Brak. Born in Romania in 1945, Tirer was the grandson of Rabbi Chaim Tirer, author of "Be'er Mayim Chaim." He was deeply devoted to the Vizhnitz Rebbes throughout his life. For many years, Tirer served as a teacher at the "Tiferet Moshe" Talmud Torah in Haifa, managed "Degel Yerushalayim" in the north, and was the secretary of Agudat Yisrael in Haifa. Tirer authored the book "Az Yashir Moshe" and organized annual memorial gatherings for his ancestor, Rabbi Chaim Tirer, at his grave in Tzfat. In recent years, he suffered from severe illnesses, which he bore with acceptance. He is survived by 12 children, including his sons Chaim Meir Tirer and Shmuel Tirer, who continue his public service. The funeral will take place on Sunday at 1:00 PM from the Great Beit Midrash in Ramat Vizhnitz, Haifa, to the Sde Yehoshua cemetery.
