The Central District Prosecutor's Office has filed a severe indictment against Fikadu Ben Isham Gibeto, 26, a resident of Or Yehuda, for the aggravated murder of Alexander Tzemach, illegal weapons possession, and obstruction of justice. The murder stemmed from a prior dispute between the two men, who previously lived as neighbors in the same building in Netanya.

According to the indictment, filed by prosecutor Roi Loss, Gibeto and an accomplice planned the assassination. They equipped themselves with a stolen motorcycle and a handgun loaded with at least four bullets. The indictment details that on the day of the murder, Tzemach began his shift at the "90th Minute" convenience store at a gas station on Pinkas Street in Netanya. Around 9:40 PM, Gibeto and his partner arrived on the motorcycle, wearing helmets with closed visors and gloves. Gibeto briefly entered the store to confirm Tzemach's presence before they left.

Approximately half an hour later, around 10:06 PM, the two returned, armed. Tzemach was behind the counter serving two customers near the entrance. Gibeto dismounted the motorcycle, ran into the store, stood near the customers, and fired four shots at Tzemach's upper body at close range. Immediately after the shooting, Gibeto fled to the waiting motorcycle outside, and the pair sped away.

Minutes later, they reached a grove on Anilevich Street, where they abandoned the motorcycle in an attempt to destroy evidence and impede the investigation. Emergency services pronounced Tzemach dead at the scene due to a fatal gunshot wound to his back, which caused catastrophic lung damage and massive bleeding.

The prosecution intends to seek a prison sentence if Gibeto is convicted.
