Hapoel Kiryat Shmona (Hapoel K.S.) is set to host Hapoel Haifa on Saturday, aiming to secure their first victory in seven league matches. The team is coming off a 1-1 draw against Beitar Jerusalem, where a late penalty, later deemed incorrectly awarded, secured them a point. Coach Shi Brada expressed satisfaction with his team's performance against Beitar, noting their high level of play and fighting spirit, which they hope to replicate against Hapoel Haifa.
Brada will be without midfielder Alex Sola, who is suspended after accumulating five yellow cards. Sola has been a key player for the team, and his absence will necessitate a change in the midfield. Ofir Benvenisti is the likely replacement, competing for a spot alongside Tales Costa and either Nadav Markovich or Ariel Shertsky.
The last encounter between these two teams in August, during the Toto Cup, saw Hapoel K.S. emerge victorious with a 3-1 scoreline, advancing them to the tournament's semi-finals. Goals in that match were scored by Adrian Ugrysa, Ariel Shertsky, and Shai Sabach.
