New details have emerged regarding heated exchanges between players during the NBA game where the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Phoenix Suns 132-119, improving their record to 6-1. The footage reveals confrontations involving Dillon Brooks and other players, including Israeli forward Deni Avdija.
Earlier in the game, Brooks clashed with Damian Lillard after Brooks' leg movement near Lillard's previously injured ankle drew Lillard's ire. Lillard questioned Brooks' action, asking why he extended his leg, to which Brooks responded he was attempting a shot. Lillard expressed concern, stating Brooks "almost hit my leg" after the shot.
Later, Avdija also exchanged words with Brooks. While Avdija was at the free-throw line, Brooks reportedly mocked him, saying, "He's always acting." Avdija retorted, "You're the one acting the most! I'm better than you. How are you even talking?" This exchange indicated Avdija's refusal to remain indifferent to Brooks' taunts.
