A man in his 30s was fatally shot Friday morning at a bus stop on Highway 65, near the Tzalmon Stream interchange. Police are investigating the incident, which they believe to be criminally motivated. Magen David Adom received the initial report at 6:41 AM. Responding paramedics found the victim unconscious with a penetrating wound. A bystander had begun CPR under the guidance of MDA dispatchers, and the medical team continued resuscitation efforts. However, the injuries were too severe, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene. "When we arrived at the scene, we saw the victim lying on the sidewalk near the bus stop, unconscious and suffering from penetrating injuries to his body," said MDA paramedic Fadi Othman. "A citizen who was at the scene began performing resuscitation efforts under the guidance of MDA's 101 dispatch, and we continued them, but his injury was fatal, and in the end, we could only pronounce him dead." Police stated that officers were dispatched, initiated searches for suspects, and opened an investigation into the circumstances. The background is criminal, and the details are under examination. This incident follows a particularly violent evening across Israel, which saw two other murders and multiple injuries from shootings and stabbings.
