Maccabi Haifa is set to return to Sammy Ofer Stadium on Saturday to face Maccabi Netanya, aiming to rebound after recent losses to Hapoel Be'er Sheva and Hapoel Tel Aviv. Coach Barak Bakhar believes a similar number of scoring opportunities against Netanya will yield a different, positive result.
The team anticipates defensive changes, with Noam Shtayfman returning to central defense after serving a suspension. Yarin Levy is expected to replace the suspended Eitan Azulay in midfield. On the wings, Kangi Hura or Yair Mordechai could start, while Kenny Saif is slated to begin at left-back, displacing Yalla Betay.
Despite recent performance, fan support remains strong, with all tickets for the match selling out two days prior. Players have reportedly discussed their desire to reward the fans before the upcoming break.
A projected starting lineup includes Omri Glazer, Eli Dasa, Nigel Lonwijk, Noam Shtayfman, Kenny Saif (or Yalla Betay), Yarin Levy, Ali Muhammad, Bruninho, Kangi Hura, Pedro Brazão, and Andra Novakovich.
