A man, approximately 70 years old, died overnight between Thursday and Friday in a house fire that broke out on Yair Stern Street in Ramla. Emergency medical services found him with severe burn injuries and pronounced him dead at the scene. Another man, around 42 years old, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Shamir-Assaf Harofeh Medical Center in Be'er Yaakov.

The report of the fire was received by Magen David Adom (MDA) at 1:04 AM. Paramedic Kalman Levlicht and Senior HEMS Technician Eitan Schnor, both from MDA's motorcycle unit, described arriving at a house with signs of fire. Inside, they discovered the deceased man, who showed no signs of life and had extensive burns across his body. Despite their efforts, his injuries were too severe to save him. Additional MDA teams provided medical care and evacuated the second man, who was in light condition, to the hospital.
