Two Suspects Arrested for Systematic Hotel Room Thefts in Eilat

The Eilat Police arrested two suspects involved in a systematic theft spree targeting guest rooms at a local hotel. The first suspect, a 30-year-old man from Ashdod who worked at the hotel, stole a master key card used to open rooms. The second suspect, a 39-year-old man from Kiryat Malakhi, impersonated a maintenance worker and entered 26 rooms, stealing cash, credit cards, bags, and personal belongings. The suspects used the stolen credit cards to make purchases at shops in Eilat. Authorities found a suitcase containing a large amount of stolen property in possession of one of the suspects. Both suspects are under investigation for additional property crimes, and formal charges will be filed against the main perpetrator of the thefts.
