Three Arrested for Assault at Luxury Hotel in Eilat Following Harassment Incident

A series of violent incidents at vacation sites continued over the weekend at the Shlomo HaMelech Hotel in Eilat, where three guests were arrested after harassing and assaulting another couple. The three individuals, who came from Beersheba and the moshav Ahisamach, repeatedly mocked a woman staying at the hotel with her husband. Despite the couple's efforts to avoid confrontation, the husband demanded that the harassment stop, leading to an argument and subsequent physical attack at the hotel pool.

After the husband left the pool area toward the hotel entrance, the three followed him, continued threatening him, and one of them physically assaulted him again. Police were called to the scene and detained the three men, aged in their twenties and thirties, who were then taken for questioning at the Eilat police station. Authorities will decide whether to request an extension of their detention at the Eilat Magistrate's Court for further investigation.
