Couple Climbs to Empire State Building Antenna and Proposes Amid Police Response
On Wednesday evening, two individuals climbed to the top of the Empire State Building in New York City, reaching the antenna approximately 425 meters above ground. They unfurled a black banner reading, "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace." Police and emergency services were dispatched to the scene following the unusual incident.
Footage from the site shows that after displaying the sign, one of the climbers knelt and proposed marriage to his partner.
