Singer and songwriter Yonatan Razel has returned to performing at events approximately five months after suffering a severe stroke that endangered his life. Razel, a prominent figure in Jewish music, resumed his career following an extended recovery period during which many prayed for his health. A moving video shows Razel back on stage at a special event held in memory of Rabbi Ovadia Yosef at Binyanei Ha'uma in Jerusalem. Razel attributed his recovery to the prayers of the Jewish people, stating, "Thanks to the prayers of the people of Israel."

In late May, the 53-year-old Razel experienced a brain hemorrhage and was hospitalized in serious condition at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem. His family had requested the public pray for him, identifying him as Yonatan Adi ben Chaya Rachel. After more than two weeks of hospitalization and treatment, his condition significantly improved.

Razel was released from the hospital on June 19 in good condition. Shaare Zedek Medical Center reported that thanks to prompt and professional diagnosis and treatment, he returned to full normal function. His family expressed gratitude to God and the public for their prayers and concern.

About three weeks prior to his return to performing, Razel emotionally accompanied his eldest daughter, Rivka, to her wedding, singing and playing music. His return to performing at events marks another joyous occasion for his fans.
