Hapoel Tel Aviv is preparing for a crucial match against Maccabi Haifa, aiming to solidify their position in the league standings. Following their Toto Cup final victory, coach Eliniv Barda wants his players to maintain focus and ground themselves.
The game is significant as Maccabi Haifa is only one point behind Hapoel Tel Aviv in the league table. This early-season encounter presents an opportunity for Hapoel to create some distance from one of the league's strong contenders.
Coach Barda has included all foreign players in the squad, with the final decision on who will be excluded from the lineup to be made just before kickoff. Emmanuel Boateng, who requires a special mask, is likely to be rested to allow for further recovery.
The main midfield decision for Barda is between El Yam Kanzapolsky and Adrian Krave. While Kanzapolsky has started recent games, Krave is expected to get the nod to start this match, with Kanzapolsky potentially resting.
The anticipated starting lineup includes Assaf Tzur, Yannick Lellindell, Chico Alves, Fernand Mayembo, Marcus Coco, Lucas Falcao, Adrian Krave (or El Yam Kanzapolsky), Roy Elkokayn, Douglas Owusu, Omri Altman, and Daniel Dapeh.
