Israeli Court Rejects Gaza Brigade Intelligence Officer's Appeal Against Military Discharge After October 7 Massacre
The Israeli Administrative Court has dismissed the appeal of Lieutenant Colonel A, the intelligence officer of the Gaza Division during the October 7 massacre, against his discharge from permanent service in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The court ruled that the military may continue its process of releasing him from service. According to the IDF, following investigations, the Chief of Staff determined that several senior commanders bear command responsibility for the events of the massacre and that disciplinary measures are warranted. Lieutenant Colonel A is among those commanders, and therefore, in line with the court ruling, the IDF will proceed with the discharge process.
