Israeli Police Find Seven Children Crammed in Car Trunk in Jerusalem
Israeli police officers from the Oz station in the Jerusalem district uncovered a dangerous situation on Monday near the Har Homa neighborhood on Road 398. During a routine traffic enforcement operation, officers stopped a private vehicle driven by a 22-year-old East Jerusalem resident. Upon inspection, they discovered the car was carrying 11 passengers, exceeding the legal limit. Shockingly, seven of these passengers were children who had been transported inside the car's trunk, tightly packed in a manner that posed a serious risk to their safety. The children were immediately removed from the vehicle to ensure their well-being. The driver was issued a summons for violating traffic laws. The police emphasized their commitment to continuing enforcement activities against traffic violations that endanger human lives.
