Iran and Oman Discuss Future Management of Strait of Hormuz Based on Memorandum of Understanding

Iran and Oman held their first meeting in Muscat as part of a joint conference focused on the Strait of Hormuz. This was announced by Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Arib-Abadi. During the meeting, the two countries exchanged views on the sovereign rights of Gulf states and discussed the future management of the strait. They emphasized that this management would be based on a memorandum of understanding with the United States.
