Israeli Police Arrest Suspects in Violent Attack on Jewish Shepherds Near Ma'kaneh Avraham

Israeli police arrested four suspects from the Rashaydeh village on Sunday in connection with the assault on three Jewish shepherds near the Ma'kaneh Avraham farm. The attack occurred while the shepherds were tending their flocks. The police operation, conducted with IDF support, involved collecting evidence, gathering testimonies, and searching for additional suspects who fled the scene.

Intelligence efforts were intensified to identify and locate those involved. During the investigation, two women were detained after refusing to cooperate and attempting to evade police during a search. Later in the day, police successfully identified and apprehended four suspects linked to the violent incident and plan to request an extension of their detention.

Eyewitnesses reported that the shepherd was surrounded by several Bedouins from Rashaydeh armed with clubs and stones. When local residents arrived to assist, the assailants threw stones to prevent them from reaching the injured shepherd. Two additional youths were reportedly injured during the rescue. The shepherd was found unconscious and evacuated along with the two other injured individuals.
