IDF Kills Two Senior Hamas Commanders In Gaza Responsible For October 7 Attacks
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted targeted strikes last week in the Gaza Strip, killing two senior commanders of Hamas's military wing who posed immediate threats to Israeli forces. In the Shati area, Abd al-Rahman Maher Abd al-Karim Ziyada, commander of the Nukhba terrorist cell, was eliminated. Ziyada had infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7 massacre and stole an IDF vehicle, which he took back into Gaza. Another strike in the Khan Yunis area killed Kamal Muhammad Hamdan Nagar, head of the tunnel unit in that region. Both militants actively promoted terrorist operations against IDF forces throughout the conflict. The Southern Command stated that Israeli forces will continue operations in the area to neutralize any immediate threats in accordance with existing agreements.
