Actors Gal Amitai and Efrat Dor Wed in Three-Day Dead Sea Celebration

Actors Gal Amitai, 40, and Efrat Dor, 43, officially married on Saturday after more than two years together. Their wedding ceremony took place at sunset at the cliffs of Derechot in the Judean Desert near the Dead Sea, with close friend and actor Moshe Ashkenazi serving as the officiant. About 200 guests attended the intimate event.

The couple is hosting a three-day celebration at the Dead Sea, featuring a pool party, ice pools, a bonfire, a Burning Man-style desert party, and seven DJs performing throughout the festival. Dor wore a gown designed by Vivi Balash, while Amitai donned a suit by Novorish Dog designed by Maoz Dahan. Notable guests included Uri Peper, Joy Rieger, Amir Shorosh, Dana Ivgi, Michael Aloni, Noa Mozes, and Shani Atias.

This marriage marks a second chapter for both: Dor was previously married for over a decade to director Moshik Maimon, with whom she has two children. Amitai was formerly engaged to actress Agam Rodberg and married Shir Levinson in 2021; they divorced after two years without children. The couple’s multi-day festivities are set to continue through Monday.
