Fighters from the August 2025 intake of the Nahal Brigade's scout unit recently ascended to the summit of Mount Kena'im. The special moments were documented by Roey Bibi, a former fighter in the unit who knows the mountain well. Bibi, who served in the scout unit at the beginning of the war and was wounded in combat in the Gaza Strip, returned to the mountain for the first time since his injury, this time with a camera instead of a weapon. The photographs he took capture the young fighters on their way to the summit and the moments they become part of the unit's tradition. The full story and photographs were published by the IDF on its website on Thursday. The IDF noted that Bibi's story connects the generation of fighters who fought at the war's outset with the new fighters continuing their path.
