Singer Eden Golan has released her debut international album, the culmination of two years of intensive creative work. In a recent interview on Kan News's "Ba'Hatsi Hayom" radio program, Golan described the album as deeply personal and revealing, stating, "This album is very exposed. It's really about the whole process I've had in the last two years, everything I felt, a process of growing up. I just wrote it from the heart without any mask."

Despite her significant success in Israel, Golan chose to create the album in English, explaining it as a natural choice due to her strong connection to the language. "English is a mother tongue, so it's easier for me to express myself and write and get my feelings into words in English. In Hebrew, I still struggle a bit, but I'm trying and doing it," she said. Golan also addressed a parody sketch on the Israeli comedy show "Eretz Nehederet" that highlighted her grammatical errors in Hebrew, noting that even native Hebrew speakers sometimes make mistakes.

The album and its title track, "Imperfections," represent a life philosophy for Golan. She entered the studio without a rigid plan, aiming for a unique and unconventional sound. "I kept saying, I have no direction, I want to do what comes out, without limits. That it should be strange, that it should be different... it doesn't have to be perfect and what everyone expects," she explained.

Addressing the contrast between her glamorous image and the album's theme of flaws, Golan spoke candidly about self-acceptance. "Every person somehow finds flaws in themselves. And the process of loving yourself is a long process, especially in adolescence, I think, we all encountered insecurity and something we're not happy with. It's a long process you need to go through with yourself to eventually love every part of you as you are without changing anything."

Golan is preparing for her first solo performance at the Barby Club in Tel Aviv at the end of the month, which will feature a live band and new arrangements of her songs. "I'm very excited. I'm not afraid, I'm excited and really looking forward to it," she shared.
