A newborn baby was found without a pulse or breathing after a home birth in the Givat Shaul neighborhood of Jerusalem. United Hatzalah emergency medical teams were dispatched to the apartment following a report of a woman in labor. Upon arrival, they discovered the birth had already occurred and the infant was being held by its mother, unconscious and without vital signs.

Volunteer doctors Prof. Jeffrey Kushok and Dr. Aryeh Yaffe, along with paramedic Shuki Beker and EMT Dudi Rosenwald from the intensive care unit team, immediately began advanced resuscitation efforts. They successfully revived the baby's pulse.

The infant was then transported by a United Hatzalah intensive care ambulance to Shaare Zedek Medical Center. The baby's condition is currently listed as serious.
