Fenerbahçe, coached by Šarūnas Jasikevičius, defeated Žalgiris 99-80 on Tuesday. Following the game, Jasikevičius attended a press conference where he was met with a surprising lack of questions. After making his initial statement, only one question was posed to him by the journalists present. In response, Jasikevičius stood up and declared, "Great, thank you very much friends. Let's go watch Barça." It remains unclear whether he was referring to the Barcelona basketball team, which was nearing the end of its game against Maccabi Tel Aviv, or the Barcelona football team, which had recently celebrated a victory in the Champions League against Galatasaray.
