Israel’s defense minister warns Iran in Persian-language post
Defense Minister Israel Katz posted a message in Persian on X, responding to recent threats attributed to Iranian Quds Force commander Esmail Qaani. Katz said Qaani had been issuing repeated threats against Israel and mocked what he called Qaani’s “ridiculous threat suit,” saying the “informant image” suited him better.
Katz then warned that if Iran attacks Israel, “this will be its biggest mistake so far.” He said that neither “Hormuz” nor firing at civilians would help Iran, and added, “Nothing will stop us. Our forces are ready to finish the job.”
The post was framed as a direct warning to Tehran and a signal that Israeli forces are prepared for any Iranian attack.
