Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir had a confrontation in a hallway at the "Bamat Israel" conference. Ben-Gvir initiated the exchange, challenging Bennett by asking, "What are you afraid of? Are you afraid of a confrontation? I see you talking... You are the one who formed a government with Mansour Abbas. A crook is a crook, trickery is a profession."

Bennett responded by explaining his previous remarks about Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and attempting to de-escalate the situation. He stated, "There will be no government with Netanyahu. Netanyahu bears personal and direct responsibility for October 7th, and he is currently holding Qatari agents in his office. Everyone who was there understood that I said things to illustrate the absurdity. He is against a state commission of inquiry, against the conscription of Haredim, he cannot continue in his role for another minute."

Bennett further elaborated on his current focus, saying, "I am focused now on increasing the bloc. We spoke two weeks ago about a bloc strategy, and that is what I am doing from morning till night. I am going to Likud strongholds, and many are joining the 'servants revolution.' Even Likud voters have children who are collapsing under 120 days of reserve duty. They too understand that the State of Israel will not survive if we do not dismantle the anti-Zionist Haredi state that has arisen within us."
