Poll Shows Bennett and Lapid Alliance Down to 18 Seats After Two Months
A poll published by Maariv and conducted by the Lazar Research Institute shows that the new "B'Yachad" party led by Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid has continued to slide since its launch two months ago. The survey says the list is now 10 seats below the first poll taken when the party was formed, when it won 28 seats.
If elections were held today, Likud would win 22 seats, Eisenkot’s "Yashar!" would take 21, and Bennett and Lapid’s party would fall to 18. Yisrael Beytenu would get 11 seats, the Democrats 10, Otzma Yehudit 9, Shas 8, United Torah Judaism 7, Hadash-Ta'al 6, Ra'am 4, and Religious Zionism 4.
The poll puts Blue and White, Balad, and the Reservists party below the electoral threshold. The opposition bloc would total 60 seats, while the coalition would rise by one seat to 50. The Arab parties remain steady at 10 seats.
