Businessman Roni Mana, once a close confidant of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has become one of the premier's most vocal critics. Mana recently directed his sharpest attacks at Channel 14 and its political correspondent, Moti Castel, after Castel announced a "dramatic poll" on the channel's news program.
Mana responded on X, questioning Castel's character and the poll's veracity, calling it "another false poll and you know it's false." He then escalated his personal attack, referencing his past closeness to the Netanyahu family. "Listen, pet of the Netanyahu family, Bibi doesn't like sycophants, he despises them, he's behind you but laughing at you," Mana wrote. He further claimed, "I'm telling you from a firsthand source, he calls you a toy poodle. At least pick yourself the cutest dog in the world, by the way, I have one like that, you can easily mingle with it."
This is not an isolated incident; Mana has recently intensified his criticism of Netanyahu's circle and Channel 14 personnel. The previous evening, Mana attacked Yinon Magal, host of "The Patriots," accusing him of excessive fawning and suggesting Netanyahu would "shit on you from overexcitement from licking ass." Mana asserted that they are deceiving their "brainless viewers."
These harsh exchanges underscore the continued animosity between Mana and the Netanyahu family, which continues to generate significant media attention in Israel.
