Itamar Fleischman blasts Ilana Dayan, says she should not be given a platform
Panelist Itamar Fleischman sharply attacked journalist Ilana Dayan on Channel 14’s "The Patriots," responding to her comment that some groups in society are worth more than others. He said Dayan and her allies are "absolute fascists" and called her words "fascist words unlike any other."
Fleischman argued that one defining feature of dictatorship is lying about everything. "One of the characteristics of dictatorship is that everyone is willing to lie all the time about every issue," he said. According to him, people know the truth but keep lying because they are afraid someone will "crush" them and strip them of their freedoms and jobs.
He also said the public does not understand how deeply these people are embedded in "a dictatorial class" that forces others to speak as they do. Fleischman then warned that if they already have a microphone and Galatz, they should not be given any additional public platform. The remarks were aired just minutes before publication, and the clip was promoted as a video segment from Channel 14.
