AI creator Yonatan Vechter has generated a viral video placing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu inside the Israeli reality show "Big Brother." The video digitally replaces Erez Iscov, a contestant from the previous season, with Netanyahu's face and voice. Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett is also featured alongside Netanyahu in the fabricated scene.
The AI-generated visuals and audio are reportedly so precise that the situation appears realistic and the dialogue sounds plausible. In the clip, Netanyahu is depicted telling Bennett, "Do I look like someone who needs to be jealous of anyone?" and adding, "I don't see you as a threat at all."
This is not Vechter's first foray into AI-generated political satire. Previously, he transformed Golda Meir into a social media influencer and created a video of Netanyahu and former US President Trump vacationing in Eilat. The timing of the "Big Brother" video, released close to an election, is seen as contributing to its virality.
Additional videos uploaded by Vechter also incorporate Sara Netanyahu into various "Big Brother" scenarios. One such video featuring Sara Netanyahu has garnered nearly half a million views online.
