Ajax Coach Michel Confronts Oscar Gloukh Over Missed Chances

Ajax player Oscar Gloukh was involved in a heated exchange with his coach, Michel, during the team's 1-1 draw against Nijmegen. Gloukh, who had multiple opportunities to score but ultimately failed to convert, was substituted in the 60th minute. The Spanish coach confronted Gloukh, reportedly saying, "Oscar! Two goals! You could have scored two goals!" This sharp rebuke was noted by Dutch media, who observed Gloukh's clear displeasure and Michel's direct response.

Following the incident, former player and commentator Kenneth Perez heavily criticized the transfer of Gloukh, questioning the significant fee Ajax paid for him. "They paid 11 or 12 million euros for him, maybe even more, how did they conclude this was a good signing?!" Perez exclaimed, adding that Gloukh's shots were like a "child's kicks."
