A two-year-old girl has died after being accidentally run over by her father in the Lower Galilee region of northern Israel. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening in Buq'ata, where the family, residents of Tur'an, had arrived to visit the child's grandfather. Police and traffic accident investigators arrived at the scene and launched an investigation into the circumstances of the tragic accident. Magen David Adom (MDA) received the report at 6:21 PM. Paramedics provided initial medical treatment and evacuated the child in critical condition to the Poriya Medical Center. An MDA paramedic described finding the toddler unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, suffering from severe, multi-system injuries after being hit by a vehicle. Despite resuscitation efforts during transport and at the hospital, medical teams were ultimately forced to declare her dead.
