Police have ordered the closure of an Aroma Espresso Bar branch in Tel Aviv's port area for 30 days following the discovery of an undocumented worker suspected of being employed there. The closure, effective until November 9, was mandated by Tel Aviv District Commander Nitzav Sagroffe after a criminal investigation was launched into the circumstances of the worker's employment.

The incident began last Friday when officers from the Tel Aviv North station conducted an operation in crowded areas. During their activity, they visited the Aroma branch in the port complex and found an individual present in Israel illegally. Authorities suspect this individual was working at the establishment.

In response to this finding, a criminal investigation was initiated to clarify the employment details. Simultaneously, licensing officers began administrative proceedings to close the business, utilizing powers granted to the police under the Entry into Israel Law.

Following a review of the gathered evidence, the District Commander decided to issue the closure order. The police stated, "The Israel Police will continue to act with determination against the employment, transportation, and harboring of illegal residents, in order to maintain public peace and security."
