A foot chase through the streets of southern Tel Aviv concluded with the arrest of a foreign national in his 40s, suspected of breaking into a bicycle shop. The suspect, who noticed police officers while climbing a building wall, attempted to flee but was found hiding in an abandoned yard shortly thereafter. During the operation, four pairs of electric bicycles and other equipment believed to be stolen were recovered.

The incident occurred Saturday evening during a police operation by officers from the Sharet station in the Ayalon region on Reibel Street in southern Tel Aviv. Officers observed an individual who aroused their suspicion while climbing a building wall. Upon noticing the police, the man began to flee. The officers pursued him on foot, eventually locating him hiding in an abandoned house's yard and arresting him.

Searches along his escape route revealed four pairs of electric bicycles and seats, which are suspected to have been stolen. Keys and locks, also believed to be stolen from the bicycle shop he allegedly broke into, were found on the suspect's person. The suspect was arrested and taken for questioning at the Sharet station, where he was subsequently detained. He was brought before the court, which extended his arrest until tomorrow.
