EuroLeague teams are already planning for the 2026/27 season, and on Thursday Milano officially announced the signing of Alec Peters. The forward agreed to a two-year contract with an option for a third season.
Peters leaves Olympiacos after four years in Greece, where he was mostly the backup to Sasha Vezenkov. Milano brings him in after a strong finish to the previous campaign, especially in Olympiacos' EuroLeague Final Four run.
Last season, Peters averaged 7.5 points and 2.8 rebounds in a little more than 15 minutes per game. In the Final Four, however, he averaged 16.5 points and 4.5 rebounds against Fenerbahce and Real Madrid.
The transfer may also influence the race for Bonzie Colson, who is of interest to Maccabi Tel Aviv. According to previous reports, Olympiacos is also tracking Colson, who could leave Fenerbahce this summer, and sees him as a possible replacement for Peters in Piraeus.
